Evening reading and writing classes have been organised in seix villages in the vicinity of Bogota by a Colombian newspaper enterprise. Various teaching methods are used, including the direct, pupil-teacher system and also "learning by radio". Here, Mr. Carlos Duica, director of the study programme, with some of his pupils who are using a disused barn as a school."
